  • Level 1 treatment assists clients in achieving permanent changes in their alcohol and drug-using behavior. General Outpatient services address major lifestyle, attitudinal, and behavioral issues that have the potential to undermine the goals of treatment or inhibit the individual’s ability to cope with major life tasks without the non-medical use of alcohol or other drugs.

  • This level of care is designed for clients who are either entering substance use disorder treatment for the first time or are stepping down from a more intensive level of substance use disorder treatment. The program offers 6 hours, per week, of individual and group substance use counseling for youth and a minimum of 9 hours, per week, of individual and group substance use counseling for adults.

  • Treatment for youth clients under the age of 16 requires a parent or guardian’s consent. Youths ages 12 to 17 can be referred to our youth program.

Level 2.1 is intensive outpatient services.

  • This level of care involves being treated for at least 9 and up to 19 hours of structured professionally directed programming per week. We understand that substance use can also have co-occurring conditions such as depression or an anxiety disorder. 2.1 level of care is capable of meeting the complex needs that many people bring to recovery.

  • One of the major benefits of this level of care is that it’s less expensive than inpatient care, and allows you to continue working or attending college while you get treatment.
